  • During your consultation ERA founder Shannon Brown visits with you regarding your land management goals, identifies key plant species currently on-site, answers your questions regarding ERA’s services and process, gains a boots-on-the-ground understanding of challenges you’re facing and discusses potential solutions within our extensive land management “tool box.”

  • For Farm and Ranch Clients, ordering a set of Watershed Analysis Maps prior to a consultation can allow us to discuss the findings of the analysis in person, on the land, during the consultation visit.

Flash

$780-$1,020

If your goal is simply to harvest rainwater to prevent it from contributing to the flash flooding problem in Texas and transform that water instead into a groundwater asset, this design allows you to become part of the solution.

The most budget-friendly design for your rainscape, this level of design shows just rainscape basins based on watershed analysis. This design is completed digitally with no on-site measurements. This is ideal for large acreage projects “out in the pasture” without structures nearby.

If onsite measurements are required, additional fees may be necessary.

This package includes:

  • No site visit necessary

  • 2D earthworks design placement for berms and swales

Deliverables

  • Digital Earthworks Plan

Upgrade

  • Add placement of up to 10 trees or shrubs for $150.

Earthworks Design for a Food Forest

Farm & Ranch Design Services

“Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance”

All Pricing Based on Design Hours Involved Unless Otherwise Listed.

  • Flash Design (WA required)

  • Food Forest Design (WA required)- Envisioning a lush food forest on your land? Let us do the (virtual) “heavy lifting!” Through meticulous spatial calculations that take into account existing utilities, we’ll map out your food forest with your goals in mind. Take the guesswork out of planting food crops and trees with our Food Forest Design Service.

  • Native Seed Calculations- Before investing in native seeds, we’ll help you determine what plants to seed and where to spread them for maximum success, as well as how much seed to purchase to match the acreage you plan to seed.

  • Pond Design With Watershed Catchment Calculations (WA required)- Ponds that never fill up or don’t hold water are a wasted investment, so before investing in pond construction, a little prior planning with a thorough understanding of your watershed and soils is the ideal way to move forward successfully with your new pond.

  • Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting Calculations (WA required)- If you’re ready to invest in rainwater harvesting tanks, but don’t want to get a tank that’s too large or, even worse, too small for the amount of roof space you have, this service will help you invest in a tank that is appropriately sized based on your rooftops.

  • Wildlife Management Plan Write-Up

  • Wildlife Management Plan Annual Reporting

  • Plant Inventory/Identification Service

  • Private Plant Identification Walk Events- Invite Friends and Family for a Special Day of Learning About The Plants on Your Land.

  • Personalized Digital Field Guides- Our team visits your land to take photos of noteworthy plants and process these photos into a digital album with botanical and common names that you can reference while you’re learning about your plants.
